On September 5, 2025, Khon Kaen University, through the Division of Legal and Corporate Communication, in collaboration with university executives, deans, heads of departments, and more than 55 partner organizations, organized the “Khon Kaen University Community Service Fair” (KKU Societal Contribution).
The event was graced by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, who presided over the opening ceremony, held at the 1st floor plaza of Khon Kaen Railway Station, Khon Kaen Province.
The “Khon Kaen University Community Service Fair” offered a wide range of free public services, including oral health check-ups, tooth fillings, extractions, general health screenings, flu vaccinations, breast cancer screenings, consultations for pain management, acupuncture, facial and scalp analysis, body scans, traditional Chinese medicine services, heart health screenings, electrocardiograms (ECG), basic CPR training, traditional Thai massage, eye relaxation masks, knee pain treatments, liver fluke parasite screenings, cervical cancer screenings, mental health assessments and counseling, hypertension screenings, and nicotine addiction counseling.
The event also featured academic exhibitions on important parasitic diseases in Thailand, pathology displays, biological specimen preservation, construction and building maintenance consultation, food product and processing knowledge, Metaverse-based learning experiences, and virtual exhibitions featuring CPRobot demonstrations. Additionally, there were legal consultation services, business strategy consultations, and relocation advisory services.
Other highlights included pet care services, dog and cat vaccinations, and exhibitions promoting academic services, community career development, agricultural innovation, and support for people with disabilities.
